Willy Street Co-op’s new Exclusive Nutrition Consultant.

Katy Wallace, ND CNHP RYT specializes in helping people resolve their health problems by eating better. Now Co-op Owners can learn how to take full advantage of the variety of natural nourishing foods that the Co-op offers.

Katy Wallace can help you:

Healthy Food Tours

Healthy Food Tour I

Discover the healing foods available at the Co-op. Join us for a tour & taste of cleansing foods and drinks, sugar-, gluten-, and dairy-free options, healthy fats, nourishing dried goods, fermented food, and unpasteurized food. We will also cover the value of label-reading, avoiding synthetic and highly-processed ingredients, and eating food provided by local farmers/vendors.

Healthy Food Tour II
Moving beyond the basic groceries discussed in Tour I, this program offers suggestions for making healthy selections from the deli and salad bars, choosing healthy desserts, and label-reading for longterm health. Join us for a taste & discussion of foods that respect proper food combining and digestive health.

Individual Nutrition Session

Each month, the Willy Street Co-op provides 45 minute individual nutrition sessions for four of its owners for a fee of $15. These sessions fill up fast and the wait period can be up to 8 weeks.

A session offers:

  • Consultation regarding eating habits, health history, goals and lifestyle
  • Health assessment survey
  • Food choice suggestions geared towards addressing health goals

Katy Wallace is a Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Natural Health Professional.

Katy Wallace believes the body has the ability to heal and stay healthy if given the proper nutrition and care. She holds a Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) degree from Trinity College of Natural Healthand became a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) in 2007. In addition to two years of coursework in traditional naturopathy, she apprenticed for over 1,500 hours as a nutrition specialist with a naturopathic clinic. She has since completed over 180 hours of continuing education in the area of holistic nutrition and been trained in Blood Morphology, Iridology, ElectroDermal Screening, and Flow Systems/Biological Terrain. Katy also holds a Master's degree from UW Madison and a Bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Minnesota.

Katy is a member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants and active with the Wisconsin Health Freedom Coalition. Because meditation, yoga, and other body-restoring practices contribute to keeping body systems balanced, Katy chose to become certified in Kundalini yoga and a registered yoga teacher.

In 2006 she founded Human Nature, LLC, offering nutrition, naturopathy, and yoga services in Madison, Wisconsin.
