Our Cob Wall

We worked with Outta the Box, a Madison, Wisconsin-based organization offering educational workshops and consulting on natural building techniques, whole system food production and urban reuse of resources. Their instructors led workshops on creating and building with cob, a sustainable material made of sand, clay straw and water. The result was the decorative wall shown below.
