Ice cream without the cream! This easy recipe results in a creamy, luscious, frozen dessert that is vegan, and gluten-free, and sugar-free, and amazingly, oh so yummy!
|1 c||almond milk|
|3 T||almond butter|
|1⁄4 t||almond liqueur (optional)|
|1⁄4 c||almonds (sliced)|
Place the almond milk, banana, almond butter, and almond liqueur (if using) in a blender pitcher. Purée for 15-20 seconds, until the mixture is smoothie-consistency. Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker and fold in the sliced almonds. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
