Cristeta Comerford, the White House's Executive Chef since 2005, is to thank for this great salad dressing. It's delicious on a hearty green salad.
|1⁄4 c||apple cider vinegar|
|1||lemon (juice of)|
|3⁄4 c||olive oil|
Use a whisk to combine the honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and shallot in a small bowl. While whisking, slowly pour in the olive oil to form an emulsion. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
