The Business of Being Born Film Screening

Friday, February 29th at 6:00pm and Sunday, March 2nd at 2:00pm. Wild and Scenic Festival on Tour

Thursday, March 13th, 6:30–9:30pm. The River Alliance of Wisconsin is hosting the Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Tour, presented by Patagonia, at Westgate Art Cinemas. This is currently the largest touring environmental film festival in the United States. The Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Tour uses film to inspire activism on behalf of the environment and encourage stewardship of the planet. The evening films focusing on water resources and other conservation issues. The Ki to Happiness Free introductory class

Saturday March 22nd, 10:30am–12:30pm. At Pinney Branch of Madison Public Library. Come experience how much our heart state, intentions and energy (Ki) can influence our life, relationships and the world! The class includes meridian yoga, shiatsu, meditation and other interactive health practices from Ki and Heart School and Heart of Communication training. Sponsored by UNI, the non-profit branch of the Tao Sangha International.

Lush Grace: Empowerment thru Movement & Words; A Workshop For Women

Saturday, March 29th, 1:00–4:30pm. At A Woman’s Touch, 600 Williamson Street. This workshop will encourage, inspire and empower women to express their sensual, playful, strong, sassy, overflowing creative “diva-ness.” In a safe and supportive atmosphere, self love is generated, inhibitions liberated, and our deliciousness shared without holding back. We will do this through a ritual woven with dance, word, and props. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fun dress-up, fantasy, diva, goddess goods, but some will be provided as well.
