Description

A savory alternative to the old standby corn on the cob.

Ingredients

3 Tbutter
1 cgreen bell pepper (chopped)
1⁄2 conion (chopped)
4 ccorn
1⁄4 cwater
1 Thoney
2 Tred sweet pepper (diced)
1⁄2 ccheddar cheese (optional)
4 slibacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)
  salt (to taste)

Instructions

1 . Melt butter in a frying pan. Saute the green pepper and the onion in the melted butter for 2 minutes.
2 . Add corn, water, honey and sweet red pepper to pan. Cover and cook over medium heat 10-12 minutes.
3 . If using, sprinkle cheese and bacon over the corn.
4 . Serve and enjoy!
