A savory alternative to the old standby corn on the cob.
|1 c||green bell pepper (chopped)|
|1⁄2 c||onion (chopped)|
|2 T||red sweet pepper (diced)|
|1⁄2 c||cheddar cheese (optional)|
|4 sli||bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)|
|salt (to taste)|
1 . Melt butter in a frying pan. Saute the green pepper and the onion in the melted butter for 2 minutes.
2 . Add corn, water, honey and sweet red pepper to pan. Cover and cook over medium heat 10-12 minutes.
3 . If using, sprinkle cheese and bacon over the corn.
4 . Serve and enjoy!
