Bring 2 1/4 cups to a boil. Add 1 cup rice and stir once with a fork. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes. Let stand, covered 10 minutes; uncovered 10 minutes. Fluff with fork.
Store in cool, dry place in tightly sealed container. For longer life, freeze or refrigerate.
