Combine 1 cup short grain brown rice and 2 cups water in rice cooker or 2 qt. saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 35-45 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Do not stir while cooking.
Store in airtight container in cool, dry place.
