Tacos aren’t just for Tuesday; let’s make tacos today. Impossible veggie crumbles or ground beef seasoned just right for a hard or soft taco, a side of green chili black beans, and refreshing horchata to cool the heat! Recipes contain: dairy and wheat. Vegetarian and made-without-gluten options. Hands-on.

Mr. T says, “When I was a Sprout myself, around 12 or 13, we had a foreign exchange student from France who hadn’t had tacos before (he pronounced it with a long “a,” tay-cos). That was a very memorable taco Thursday at our house, especially after our guest and a friend went wandering and found the cowboy boot store in the neighborhood and came back with impressively large Stetson hats and saying howdy with French accents. I think of that every time I make tacos at home.”

Class Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated in the event description, registrations for events canceled by Willy Street Co-op will be fully refunded. Individuals wishing to cancel their registration for events must contact education@willystreet.coop at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of an event. To cover incurred costs, there are no exceptions to the refund policy.

Tips for Adults Bringing Kids to Class

• Tie back long hair.
• Dress for class. In other words, dress in clean clothes that are okay to get messy! Also, short sleeves (or sleeves that will roll up and stay up) are a good idea, and an apron is an even better one.
• Closed-toed shoes are required. Please no sandals, flip-flops, or similar footwear.
• Arrive 5 minutes before class starts so we can begin on time and all together. Class will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please return at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled end of class for pickup.
• Please provide any information regarding food allergies or other dietary restrictions when you register.
• Do come hungry, we will eat what we cook!
