

Summery Picnic Sides
Don’t know what to bring to that summer picnic? Join Chef Mike for a few new ideas that will please a crowd and save you a place on future guest lists! Recipes include quick summer pickles, caramelized onion tartlets, the Co-op’s traditional potato salad, and a roasted beet salad with chevre. Recipes contain: eggs, dairy, and wheat. Vegetarian. Demonstration with limited hands-on opportunities.
Chef Mike says, “Sure, you can show up at that cookout with a bag of chips and a jar of salsa, a plate of soon-to-be sun-baked devilled eggs, or grandma’s three bean salad from 1958. Then again, you could bring something that is unique and memorable that’s also not a huge chore to prepare, (and chances are you will bring home an empty dish rather than a couple pounds of warm guacamole)!”
Class Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated in the event description, registrations for events canceled by Willy Street Co-op will be fully refunded. Individuals wishing to cancel their registration for events must contact education@willystreet.coop at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of an event. To cover incurred costs, there are no exceptions to the refund policy.
