- Brussels sprouts, washed, trimmed & shredded
- medium red, organic apple, unpeeled, grated
- 6 T
- lemon juice
- 3 T
- canola or walnut oil
- 1 T
- toasted sesame seeds
- 1⁄2 c
- toasted, chopped walnuts
- salt and pepper to taste, optional

Mix together and let sit. May add one cup of cold brown rice to salad and top with 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese if desired.
