Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

    • elbow macaroni
    • 3 c
    • frozen peas
    • 1 c
    • cheddar cheese, grated
    • 1
    • small onion, minced
    • 3
    • stalks celery, sliced
    • 1
    • red bell pepper, diced
    • 1 c
    • mayonnaise, or to taste
    • 1 c
    • cider vinegar
    •  
    • salt and pepper to taste

Description

Classic picnic food.

Instructions

Add pasta to boiling water and cook about 10 minutes, or until done. Drain, rinse, and cool. Blend mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Combine dressing, veggies, and pasta, adding additional mayonnaise and vinegar to taste if needed.

Notes

To turn this into a main dish salad, add two 6-ounces cans tuna or salmon, drained and flaked.
