Sirloin Tacos with Blood Orange Salsa

These fast and filling tacos are made with easy, pan-fried, cubed sirloin. The salsa  features sparkling blood orange and creamy avocado.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 blood orange
  • 2 T chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 t salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 lb sirloin
  • warm corn tortillas
  • sour cream
  • shredded lettuce

Sirloin Tacos with Blood Orange Salsa Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the avocado, tomato, red onion, blood orange and any juices, cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Set aside. 
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef and cook, stirring occasionally for  8-10 minutes, until no longer pink. 
  3. Assemble the tacos with the warm tortillas, sirloin, and salsa, with sour cream and shredded lettuce.
