Ingredients
For 4 Serving(s)
buffalo-wings
- canola oil
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 8 T butter
- 12 oz Frank's Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
- carrot sticks
- celery sticks
Buffalo Wings Directions
- Preheat oven to 200˚F. Place a wire rack in a rimmed baking sheet.
- Pour 2 inches of oil into a 6-quart Dutch oven. Heat over medium-high until a deep-fry thermometer reads 400˚F. In two batches, add chicken wings to the oil and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes, until golden-brown and crisp. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the wings to the prepared rack, and transfer to the oven.
- Combine the butter and hot sauce in a medium (heat-proof) bowl, and set over a pot of boiling water. Heat, whisking, until the butter is melted and the sauce is hot.
- Transfer the chicken wings to the bowl of sauce and toss to combine. Serve with carrots and celery, and blue cheese dip.
