Garlicky Collards from Brazil

  • 2 lb collard greens
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 onion
  • 3 clv garlic
  • salt
  • pepper

Garlicky Collards from Brazil Directions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the collard greens and cook for 5 minutes, until bright green. Remove from the hot water and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft and translucent. Add the greens and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, and enjoy!
