- 1 T dried basil
- 1 t dried thyme
- 1 t crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 c tamari
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 T vegetable broth powder
- 1 clv garlic
- 1 c water
- 1 lb firm tofu
Marinated Baked Tofu Directions
- Slice tofu into 1-inch thick slabs and press thoroughly to remove excess moisture. Combine remaining ingredients and marinate tofu in dressing for at least 2 hours. Lay tofu in baking pan and cover with ½ the marinade. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350º. Flip tofu and add the remaining marinade. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until tofu is well browned, making sure it is still soft on the inside.
