- 2 bn bunched turnips
- 1 T vegetable oil
- salt
- sli pepper
- 1 T honey
- pn cayenne
- 1 T water
Pan-Roasted Bunched Turnips with Honey Directions
- Place the turnips in a medium bowl and toss with ½ tablespoon of the oil, and the salt and pepper. In a small bowl, stir together the honey or agave, cayenne, and water.
- Heat the remaining oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the turnips, and sauté, turning frequently, until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Drizzle the turnips with the honey mixture, and toss to coat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes, until glazed and tender. Serve.
