    • fettuccini pasta, cooked
    • 1 T
    • toasted sesame oil
    • 3 T
    • canola oil
    • 2
    • onions, sliced
    • 4 clv
    • garlic, minced
    • 1 t
    • thyme
    • 1 t
    • marjoram
    • 1 t
    • sage
    • 1⁄2 t
    • allspice
    • 1 t
    • black pepper, or to taste
    • 2 c
    • seitan, cubed
    • 1⁄2 lb
    • button mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 c
    • soymilk
    • 2 T
    • arrowroot
    • 1 t
    • salt, or to taste

Description

A delicious vegan entree for family or friends.

Instructions

Sauté onions in oils until translucent. Add garlic and cook a minute more. Add seitan, herbs, and spices and sauté for 5 minutes; add mushrooms and cook until tender. In a separate bowl, whisk together soymilk, arrowroot, and salt. Add to sauté and stir until sauce thickens and bubbles. Add cooked pasta and heat through.
