Golden Milk: Turmeric and Ginger Tea with Coconut Milk Directions
Peel and grate the turmeric and ginger and place in a mortar. Add the ghee to the turmeric and ginger and use a pestle to ground them all into a creamy paste.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the coconut milk and coconut water and stir to combine. Stir in the turmeric-ginger-ghee mixture, and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook, stirring, until it barely begins to simmer. Remove from heat and cover. Allow to sit for 3 minutes. Strain the milk through a fine-mesh strainer into two mugs. Enjoy!
