Tart apple juice is paired with hot chile in this fizz, to add heat and a zippy, sweet pepper taste.

- 2 hot chiles
- ice
- 2 oz apple juice
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz club soda
- 1 lime
Hot Fizz Directions
- Slice open one of the hot chiles and remove and discard the seeds. Slice off a 1-inch piece, and discard the rest. Reserve the second chile, whole, for garnish.
- Gently muddle the piece of chile in a cocktail shaker. Add the ice, apple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup, and shake well. Fill a highball glass with ice, and strain the juice into it. Stir in the club soda, and garnish with the remaining whole chile and a single lime wedge.
