Preheat oven to 400˚F. Set a wire rack inside each of 2 large rimmed baking sheets. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, cayenne, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Whisk in the hot sauce, and keep warm.
Combine the wings, sunflower oil, remaining tablespoon salt and remaining 1/2 teaspoon of pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat. Spread the wings out in a single layer on the prepared wire racks. Bake until cooked through and skin is crispy, about 45-50 minutes.
Toss the wings in Buffalo sauce, and serve immediately.
