
Our community spaces are vibrant, mixed-use spaces that are used for classes, meetings, private rentals, and as an art gallery to showcase local artists.
Renting Our Community Space
Willy Street Co-op has two community spaces: Aubergine across from Willy East (1226 Williamson St.) and a room inside our Willy West store (at 6825 University Ave.). Both hold Co-op classes and events, and both are available for private rentals.
Please take into account it can take up to 3 weeks for a response. Most inquiries are responded to within a week.
AS OF 12/1/2025:
West Community Room Rates will change to the rates below. Additionally, all West Community Room rentals include both the kitchen and general space together.
- $10/hr: Owners/Staff/Nonprofit
- $20/hr: Non-Owners
- $20/hr: Commercial Kitchen Use for Owners/Staff/Non-Profit
- $40/hr: Commercial Kitchen Use for Non-Owners
- ALL RENTALS: $100 deposit
Aubergine Additional Rate:
General Or Combined Space rentals that want to use the piano, will be charged an additional $10/hr for your entire rental time.

Scheduling a Private Cooking Class
Interested in scheduling a private cooking class for a birthday party, team building activity, or bridal shower? Willy Street Co-op’s class instructors are available to teach groups of 5 to 15 people.
All private classes are $150/hour plus $12 food costs per adult, $14+ food costs per adult premium grocery, and $8 food costs per child.
$50/hour for travel time if the event is off-site and not held at the Willy West Community Room or Aubergine.
All costs will be billed in full-hour increments.
Please fill out the Private Cooking Class Request form, and our Education and Outreach Coordinator will respond with more information. Please submit your request at least four weeks in advance.
