Our community spaces are vibrant, mixed-use spaces that are used for classes, meetings, private rentals, and as an art gallery to showcase local artists.
Renting Our Community Space
Willy Street Co-op has two community spaces: Aubergine across from Willy East (1226 Williamson St.) and a room inside our Willy West store (at 6825 University Ave.). Both hold Co-op classes and events, and both are available for private rentals.

Scheduling a Private Cooking Class
Interested in scheduling a private cooking class for a birthday party, team building activity, or bridal shower? Willy Street Co-op’s class instructors are available to teach groups of 5 to 15 people. Private class costs tend to average between $150 and $350.
Starting June 30, 2025:
All private classes will be $150/hr + $12 food costs per adult + $14 & up food costs per adult premium grocery + $8 food costs per child.
$50/hr for travel time if offsite and event not held at West Community Room or Aubergine.
All costs will be billed in full hour increments.
Please fill out the Private Cooking Class Request form, and our Education and Outreach Coordinator will respond with more information. Please submit your request at least four weeks in advance.
