Business Accounts
According to the Co-op’s Bylaws 3.2,* businesses are not eligible to become equity Owners of Williamson Street Grocery Cooperative. We do, however, offer a “Business Account” option. While not being a full Fair Share Ownership, it does provide some nice perks to any business interested in great local food, local community and local business.
Besides the advantages of doing business with locally responsible organizations, the following benefits are also available to all of our business accounts.

How do I sign my business up for one of these accounts?

* Ownership in the Co-op shall be voluntary and open to any person, household, cooperative or nonprofit corporation that wishes to support the Co-op’s activities, intends to use its services, and will accept the responsibilities of Ownership.
Nonprofit Ownership Accounts
Nonprofit Organizations are entitled to purchase equity ($91.00) and assume all the rights and benefits provided to Owners with the following conditions:
- The Nonprofit Organization will be listed as the ‘Primary’ name on the Ownership contract.
- The ‘Secondary’ name listed on the contract must be the applying Nonprofit Organization’s Chief Executive Officer or equivalent and is the only person authorized to:
- vote in Co-op elections or other voting (i.e. referenda, bylaw changes, contests, etc.);
- place pre-orders;
- receive/apply a patronage refund;
- receive Annual Meeting invitations and festival perks passes; and
- receive an Owner price for classes.
- To establish eligibility for becoming a Nonprofit Organization Fair Share holder, a copy of the IRS 501c3 Determination letter for that Organization must be provided.
- Nonprofit Organizations, nor their purchases are eligible for use with an Access discount.
- All forms of payment are acceptable means of tender for the Nonprofit’s purchases, except for EBT/SNAP/Quest/WIC. Any purchases being made with Electronic Benefits Transaction cards should be made on Individual or Household accounts.
How do I sign up my nonprofit up for one of these accounts?
Simply stop by the Customer Service desk and any of our retail sites, and they can help you sign up for a Nonprofit Ownership account.
E-commerce Orders and Delivery
Our e-commerce website allows you to order almost any product available at Willy North and pick it up there or have it delivered anywhere within 10 miles of that store.

Pre-order Discounts
Get 10% off when you pre-order a case quantity of almost any product; some restrictions apply. Delivery is not available for these products. Contact one of our stores to place your order.

Community Perks Program
We offer a free business listing with our Community Perk Page on our website if you provide a perk for our 34,500 Owners. These participating businesses also see free promotion in every New Owner Packet, which directs our new Owners to this perk. You will also receive a decal to put in your window for our Owners to identify you as a business participant.
Perks can be switched monthly if you so desire to drive in new traffic.

Scrip Gift Card Sales (for schools only)
We offer schools and school parent-teacher organizations a 9% discount on gift cards with a minimum $1000 order. The gift cards can then be sold at full value and the school or PTO can keep the difference. It’s a great fundraiser, and the discount is higher than scrip programs offered through other local grocery stores.

Discounts on Bulk Orders of Ownerships, Gift Bags & Gift Cards
Gift Ownerships
Although only individuals can pay the equity needed to become a Willy Street Co-op Owner, we can provide the paperwork and a gift card that can be used to pay for equity. If the person chooses not to become an Owner, or if they are already one, they can use the gift card on anything in the store!
One-Year Gift Ownership Package
A $15 gift card is enough for a household to pay for their first year of Ownership. We provide the needed paperwork, information about what Ownership entails, and will add a tote bag. Discounts for bulk orders are available.
Paid-in-Full Ownership Package
A $93 gift card is enough for a household to make a full Ownership payment. We provide the needed paperwork, information about what Ownership entails, and will add a tote bag. Discounts for bulk orders are available.
Gift Cards
We can provide gift cards in any denomination, and they can be used on any product in any of our stores. If you’d like, we’ll add a tote bag with each gift card for free. Discounts for bulk orders are available.
Custom Packages
We are open to other ideas! Let us know your needs and we’ll work with you to come up with something special.
