Willy West and Willy East have gotten them, and now Willy North will get a few self-checkout lanes. At Willy North, the project will entail the removal of two registers and countertop to allow for the installation of three self-checkout lanes that will be located in roughly the same space (closest to the customer service desk). We expect the self-checkout lanes to be up and running the second week of December. 

As with the other stores' additions of self-checkouts, we have no plans to reduce labor or working hours among store clerk staff as part of this initiative. Staff members will be on hand at the self checkout station to provide assistance to customers as needed.
