Stores collecting books & winterwear

Willy East will be collecting new winter clothing Nov 14-28. Open Doors for Refugees will pick up donations and distribute them to Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy. Current donation needs include:

  • Toddler and baby clothing - winter onesies
  • Winter clothing (sweatshirts, sweatpants, long sleeve shirts, winter coats) - all age children
  • Winter clothing - adult sizes (small & medium preferred)
  • Athletic-style shoes - toddler & child
  • Winter boots - child & adult
  • Gloves
  • Winter hats

Willy North and Willy East are hosting a book drive through Dec. 15 to support Madison Reading Project, Inc. Drop off your new and like new books for ages birth-teen to help get high quality books into the hands of Dane County kids that need them most. Check out the MRP website for donation guidelines:

Willy West, KEVA Sports Center, and Middleton Public Library are partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism and Middleton Tourism to gather donations of new or gently used warm winterwear.
