You’ll notice that some shelf tags have symbols; here’s a guide about how to read them!

Price tags, as well as “Know Your Maker” signs, flyers, and other product signage include a circular gold Inclusive Trade icon if the product vendor is at least 51% owned and operated by one or more people in a historically under-represented category. If the product is made within 150 miles of the state capitol building or anywhere in Wisconsin, it’ll have a square purple Local icon.

Most price tags in the store look like the one below.

Price tag saying Olden Veggie Noodles - Zucchini. $6.99. $0.78 per oz. There's a gold circle with the letter "I" in it and a purple square with the letter "L" in it.

In the Bulk department, we have signs like below. The green square Organic icon are on these and Produce signage.

Doudlah Farms Organic Navy Beans bulk sign, with Organic, Local, and Inclusive Trade icons.

In the Produce department, we have signs like below. They include the country, state, or local farm of origin. A shelf sign like the one below that doesn’t have a square green icon means the product is not organic.

Red Radish shelf sign with a Local icon and "Wisconsin" for the origin.
