Location: Willy West Community Room
Friday, October 11, 5:00pm-7:30pm

Where is Fair Trade? What is Fair Trade?... and Where are we now? Join s during Fair Trade and Co-op Month for a multi-stakeholder panel featuring how global food movement organizations and businesses are working to build equitable, cooperative supply chains. Understanding and seeing transparent supply chains is a massive challenge for many consumers, buyers, and producers. Willy Street Co-op, Equal Exchange, and Fairtrade America are three organizations working to build more
transparent and equitable supply chains. The panel will include representatives from each organization and focus specifically on:
  • What it means to build alternative, Fair Trade supply chains, in the midst of a consolidated and monopolizing food, agriculture, and trade system.

  • Learn what your role is as a consumer in supporting and organizing to bring more equitable supply chains.
  • Why is Willy Street Co-op building the world's largest Fair Trade produce display?
