Calling all Sprouts and their adults, it’s construction season! Well, it is if you’re building with gingerbread. Join Chef Mike at Sprouts Holiday Headquarters to raise the roof (and walls), to construct a cookie cottage cozy enough for a calling bird or four. We’ll supply the baked gingerbread walls and roof, the icing to glue it all in place, plus candies, sprinkles, and other sweet things to decorate your creation. You bring your adult, your holiday spirit, and your creativity!

Recipes contain: eggs, dairy, wheat (made without gluten available by request).

Registration for an adult with each kid is required.

Class Notes:

• This is a hands-on cooking class for kids and adults to take together. Registration required for each participant (kids and adults).
• Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated in the event description, registrations for events canceled by Willy Street Co-op will be fully refunded. Individuals wishing to cancel their registration for events must contact education@willystreet.coop at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of an event. To cover incurred costs, there are no exceptions to the refund policy.

Tips for Attending a Cooking Class:

• Tie back long hair.
• Dress for class. In other words, dress in clean clothes that are okay to get messy! Also, short sleeves (or sleeves that will roll up and stay up) are a good idea, and an apron is an even better one.
• Closed-toed shoes are required. Please no sandals, flip-flops, or similar footwear.
• Arrive 5 minutes before class starts so we can begin on time and all together. Class will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please return at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled end of class for pickup.
• Please provide any information regarding food allergies or other dietary restrictions when you register.
• Do come hungry, we will eat what we cook!
