Hey again! As I announced here last month, those of us in Prepared Foods are hard at work to bring you more new entrées, baked goods, salads, and grab-and-go foods more often. If you haven’t had a chance to, yet, please look for these great new offerings already available in our Delis and Bakeries:
Beet and Kale Salad
Awesome new salad. Shredded beets and carrots with a perfectly balanced tahini dressing. Includes hemp hearts.
Espresso Swirl Brownie Gluten-Free)
Gluten-free (but we bet you can’t even tell)! Dense and moist with just a hint of espresso.
Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie
A hearty take on shepherd’s pie that is both vegan and made without gluten. Roasted potatoes, squash, mushroom, carrots, turnips, and parsnips. Yum.
Vegan Parsley Pesto
A couple of vegan pestos that we carried from other producers were discontinued in the fall. We’ve been working on this recipe for some time and we like it a lot! Made with parsley instead of basil!
Use it anywhere you would use basil pesto.
Lemon Bundt Corncake
Light and buttery, this small cornmeal cake is perfect for sharing. A great spring treat!
This is just a small selection of what we’ve brought forth in the past couple months. Look for signs that say “NEW” in the Deli and Bakery to find them all. Moving forward, we are currently working on some other exciting things, to include:
•New muffin flavors and a new smaller size.
•More vegetables on the hotbar
