Why eat local?
Local foods don’t just taste better — they are better. Since they don’t travel thousands of miles to reach your plate, they’re fresher, more flavorful, and better packed with nutrients. Plus, every local purchase helps support local farmers and makers, and keeps our communities growing strong. Eating local is good for you, and great for where you live!
We carry more than 5311 products from 527 local farmers, artisans, and makers.
All flour*, eggs, and dairy used in Willy Street Co-op prepared foods is local. We also use local, seasonal produce from our vendors as much as we can! *Except the flour used in our pizza dough.
