December 4th is National Cookie Day!
The Clasen's Bakery holiday cookie displays are standing tall in all 3 stores. We asked them to give us some fun facts about their quintessential gingerbread houses that crown each cookie display, and they did not disappoint.
🍪 5 pounds of gingerbread, cookies, and icing is used on each house.
🍪 Each house takes roughly 6 hours to decorate.
🍪 You can smell the gingerbread when you walk by the houses.
🍪 Each gingerbread house takes 15 hours of work by the whole Clasen's team (over 30 people).
Find holiday favorites like pfeffernüsse (German spice cookies), Danish spritz cookies, vanillekipferl (hazelnut crescents), heidesand (butter shortbread cookies), plus more!

$85,000 in grants will be awarded to nonprofits and/or cooperative organizations benefiting Dane County with priority given to organizations run, operated, and/or benefitting marginalized groups and organizations with limited access to funding.

• Create or develop cooperative businesses
• Promote sustainable agriculture
• Promote health and well-being
• Advocate for social change
